Earwig Traps (set of 5)
|
The earwigs are a problem in the garden! Some of them can be bad for your garden, but not ALL of them. Most species of earwigs eat decaying vegetation. Some are carnivorous and eat smaller insects and arthropods, even slugs and snails. However, there are some that eat and damage your vegetation. They eat seedling shoots and can potentially make the plants unproductive.
Here is a product that can help you with earwig problems! These earwig love rotting fruit (such as grape) and oil. Rub the top lid with the fruit or oil, and place soapy water on the bottom. The earwigs would be lured with the bait into the soapy water, where they would drown. Cleaning the product is also simple. Reuse after cleaning.
