It has full-size 3-inch chess pieces, complete set of checkers for both backgammon and checkers / draughts, and even comes with dice cups, dice, and doubling cube. All these accessories fit snugly inside the compendium when closed. The multi-game case stays shut with strong magnets. Chess playing surface is on the outside and opens up to full size when opened, and the inside is the backgammon playing surface. Another spin-off version (AF1602-06) of this walnut set is the use of a different wood veneer for the black squares.
